Pioneer Physio provides one-on-one physiotherapy for musculoskeletal injury, post-surgical recovery, and return to sport or daily activity — with a full session dedicated to you, not a rushed slot between others.
Back and neck pain, joint sprains, muscle strains, and overuse injuries affecting everyday movement.
Structured recovery programs following orthopaedic surgery, building back strength and confidence in movement.
Assessment and rehab for training and competition injuries, with a clear plan for getting back to sport.
Ongoing support for persistent pain, focused on function and quality of life, not just symptoms.
Practical support for desk-based and manual workers dealing with repetitive strain or poor posture habits.
A full history and physical assessment to understand what's actually going on, not just where it hurts.
A clear, individual plan covering hands-on treatment, exercise, and realistic timeframes for improvement.
Regular check-ins to track progress and adjust the plan, so treatment keeps working as you improve.
Pioneer Physiotherapy started from a simple frustration: too much physio care is rushed, generic, and handed off between different practitioners. We set out to do it differently, building a practice where every client gets a plan shaped by their own history, their goals, and what actually matters to them, not a copy-paste protocol.
As an independent practice, we're not bound by corporate targets or high patient turnover. That means longer, more thorough sessions, genuine continuity of care, and treatment grounded in current, evidence-based practice, focused on getting you back to doing what you love, not just managing symptoms.
Tim grew up in Shepparton and moved to Geelong in 2021 to attend university. Throughout his studies, he developed a strong interest in musculoskeletal rehabilitation, particularly in the management of muscle strains, tendon injuries and sporting injuries.
Alongside his university training, Tim gained valuable experience working as a sports trainer within the Geelong football community, where he was responsible for injury assessment, triage and on-field management of athletes. He is passionate about helping individuals return to the activities they enjoy, whether that be work, sport or everyday life, and is committed to delivering evidence-based care that supports long-term health and performance.
Outside of work, Tim stays active through strength training and running. He also loves DJing electronic music, travelling, spending time with friends, and searching for new additions to his record collection.
